Celebrating the homeland

Happy St. Patty's Day! As an Irish girl, this is one of my favorite holidays! My dad is 100% Irish, so it is definitely one of best days of the year. It was a fun day filled with green bagels, Irish coffee, corned beef sandwiches, Aunt Eileens's famous sticky buns, lots of friends and family, and the parade downtown of course! Hope you all enjoyed the day!

Spring Break and Gladiators

The last few weeks have me exhausted! I've had so much homework, projects, and papers! But tomorrow is glorious spring break! I'm not going away on vacation, but I am thrilled to go home and relax for a week!

This year is going by so fast! I can't believe I am going to be a senior in college next year..yikes!


I don't know if I've mentioned my obsession with shoes..but right now I'm loving the gladiator style. heels, flats, I want them all!

Procrastinating

Midterms are yucky and I am just not in the studying mood. Online shopping sounds much better!

I'm all about saving the planet and recycling so I was pumped to find this cool idea. It seems pretty easy too. All you need is a magazine and a glue gun. It's not uploading pictures right now for some reason..

Snowed In

This weather is just insane! Almost a foot of snow in less than 24 hours! We aren't supposed to drive so I guess I'm holed up for the day..Good day to blog..hopefully I can find some good stuff!

Wish I could be on the beach! instead I'll just be cranking up the heat!

Yay Christian!

The project runway finale was last night. The lines were gorgeous! Rami had the most beautiful dresses, and Jillian's line was very wearable. But of course, Christian rocked it. He was totally innovative, dramatic, and of course FIERCE.

Organizing

It seems no matter how much I try to organize my room, there is still always something out of place. I was looking for some ideas to try and spiffy up my old cork board and I found this..It's so cute..and its blue! My favorite color! I'll post a picture once I am finished with the project.

March

Today is March 1st! I can't believe it! This school year is flying by. Only 2 more months and I will be a college senior..eeks!! Scary thought but exciting.My mom is coming to visit next week. A new Ikea is opening near Cinnicinnati! Yay!

I like this alarm clock.
This lamp is only 4.99! It comes in 3 colors too. I might have to pick one up..Hopefully it looks nice in person.
