Magazines

Well I'm back at school. Class starts Monday! I can't believe it!! I was welcomed into my apartment with a huge stack of magazines (some that I'm not too excited to read). I subscribe to only a few magazines (Shape, Self, Instyle, and Cosmopolitan) but I'm kind of sick of them. So I need your advice. I stopped my subscription for Cosmo and want a good fashion replacement. What is your favorite magazine? I like Vogue and Vanity Fair. Is there some great magazine I'm missing out on?

I don't hate Jessica Simpson, but why she is suddenly dressing like a cowgirl just because she came out with a country album. I'd say Jessica Simpson is a pretty household name so are we just supposed to believe that she has been dressing like this the whole time? It's pretty hard to ignore the gaudy silver belts, daisy dukes, and cowboy boots. Jessica has gone through plenty of transformations (some good and bad) but I'd say this is one of the strangest. C'mon Jess you can still dress like a stylish cowgirl!

The designer's challenge this week was to design a day to night outfit for Brooke Shield's character on Lipstick Jungle. The top 6 designs were chosen by Brooke and then each of those 6 designers chose a partner to work with. Some teams worked great, while others were not agreeing.

Top Model Cycle 11

A new season of Top Model begins September 3. Although the last few seasons have been kinda crummy I continue to tune in. Hopefully this season will be good!

What is your boot style?

When browsing for boots, I tend to lean towards chunky heels and practicality. I want something comfortable but fashionable that I can wear to class looking stylish, yet not too dressy.

I veer away from stiletto heeled boots. Although I do like the look of them I couldn't see myself regularly using and wearing them.
