Painted Floors

I stumbled upon a great blog a couple days ago called High-Heeled Foot in the Door (check it out) and she was talking about how she was trying to convince her husband to paint their floors. Silver Metallic

Is anyone else still obsessed with silver/metallic things? I just think they are so fun and eye catching. It looks great in an outfit or even in a room. I had a lot of fun making this polyvore and of course now I am lusting over many of these items. Luckily some of them are in my price range!

I don't think I've ever been happier for a Friday to come! I have one more week of class then finals, so I'm a tad stressed. I'm just going to pretend I'll be sitting here all day. Have a good weekend!

Lauren Conrad Line for Kohls!

I am so excited that Lauren Conrad is designing a line for Kohl's. I know a lot of people find her annoying, but she has a soft spot in my heart from her Laguna Beach days. And let's face it, I love her style. She may not be the most innovative designer but some of the pieces from her last collection were great basics. However the price was outrageous. I think this is a much smarter career move for her because she really does have a lot of fans, many being young girls who would love to (and could afford to) wear her clothes. I've been feeling a bit blah about my clothes lately. I'm sick of the items in my closet so I'm trying to think of ways to re-vamp them and make me excited to wear them again. These are some looks I found for inspiration..

Today is just one of those days where nothing was working with my hair. It's frizzy and yucky and doesn't look cute. I want my ponytail to look like these! Nicole's hair looks cute for the day, and Jennifer's would be perfect for a night out. Any ponytail tips?

Feeling Nostalgic

My sister and I were talking about some videos we used to watch as kids, and I found them on youtube! Well one of these videos happened to be Where the Wild Things Are..and we only thought of it because I posted the trailer the other day. I thought I'd never see the light of day of these videos! Seriously I love technology, you can find anything! I think this video was a collection of Maurice Sendak books. Does anyone else remember these? If not, they are good for a laugh!





Then I got to thinking of our other memories..when we used to have our ice cream before bed we would stir our ice cream into a soup, then re-enact this medicine scene from Mary Poppins.. I was Jane, my brother was Michael, and my sister was Mary (but only because she could roll her R's!) ohh the good ol' days! And I totally thought Jane said lime quarter delicious instead of lime CORDIAL!

Equestrian Rainboot

I've been looking into getting some new rainboots. I bought some cheapo ones from Target a couple years ago, which have lasted me through college but I want some that are a bit more subtle and stylish.These Equestrian rainboots are perfect! They barely look like rainboots! I wonder how they look in person..
