I was really happy with my summer reading list. It kept me focused and on track, but gave me the flexibility to add in a few more books that didn't make the list. Here is my list for the fall:
A few of these are on my list, too! The Kite Runner is one of my favorite books in the world. It is beautiful and a little devastating and unforgettable. As is Khaled Hosseini's second one, A Thousand Splendid Sons.
Other favorites: A Prayer for Owen Meany, A Confederacy of Dunces, The God of Small Things, Push, The Brief, Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao
I LOVE THIS LIST!!! There are so many on here that I have been wanting to read but just keep putting off! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on all of them! :)

The Secret Life of Bees is a great read! I didn't see the movie, but the book is really colorful.
I have only read Bossypants out of this list but I must tell you - it is fantastic.
