Catching Up

We have been busy these last six months. Here's a snapshot at what's happened:
Life:
-I accepted a full-time nanny position in October for a baby girl who is now almost nine months old. I miss little things about teaching, but I am so happy and stress-free I can't imagine going back.
-I have been on a total health kick and have lost 16 pounds so far. It hasn't been easy, but I feel great and am inching closer and closer towards my goal.
-Andy and I have been establishing little traditions and routines in our new home. Friday is homemade pizza night. We've been *trying* to wake up earlier to enjoy our morning coffee together, and some mornings it actually happens. Sunday's are for big breakfasts. I love looking forward to these little things.
Our Home:
We have been in our house for seven months now (wow!) and are continuing the renovation process. Lots of wallpaper removal, sanding/refinishing floors, and painting. I'm the designated master roller of the house and Andy has gotten super speedy at cutting in. I'm planning a future post with an entire house tour with our before/afters and future plans.
The Wedding:
Obviously planning a wedding is what has taken over our lives the past year. I could probably write 100 posts about our wedding alone. We are getting close now, just shy of 2 months. April is a super busy month filled with engagement pictures, our bridal shower, and my bachelorette party. The excitement is really settling in and I'm trying to enjoy every last minute rather than being a stress ball. I of course have tons of details to share...our save the dates, how I asked my girls to be bridesmaids, honeymoon planning, and a few DIY projects. Stay tuned!
