Oscars 2012

Jessica, Gwyneth, and Milla get my vote for best dressed. I loved them all equally. 

 I also loved Rooney, Michelle, and Tina. The color on Michelle was impeccable, and Tina's hair! Perfect.

 Giuliana overshadowed many of the stars, and I loved the color of Glenn's dress. I was totally on the fence with Emma, but she won me over as a presenter. I wish she had better makeup though.

Last year, I made my way through every movie that was nominated for best picture. On Oscar night, it was nice to have an opinion on each film. Now that the nominations are out, I have some movies to see! Check out the full list of nominees too!

Golden Globes 2012

Reese, Berenice, and Paula were my picks for best dressed. I can't resist a bright gown. 

Hands down, I'd rather see color over a neutral on the red carpet. But these ladies brought it. 

Nicole, Emma, and Sofia deserve an honorable mention.

Emmys 2011

The red carpet was pretty tame this year. Lots of pretty gowns, but nothing too risky. Red and sparkly neutrals were definitely the colors of the night. 

Highlight of the night: lead actresses in a comedy gather on stage...how amazing does Edie look?

MTV Movie Awards

I stopped watching the Movie Awards once Twilight came around and starting sweeping every category. Where's the surprise in that? Anyways, I'm never one to turn down an excuse to check out the fashion. Here are my picks for best dressed.

While I don't particularly love Emma's dress, I'm thrilled to see her as a red head again.

2011 Academy Awards

Another year has come and gone. I wasn't completely blown away by this year's red carpet, but there were definitely some stunners. All in all, things were a bit too ordinary for me. Everyone was pretty enough, but I love a little drama on Oscar night. Shall we begin? 

Cate Blanchett was my favorite of the night. Everything was perfect. 

Anne went through many changes, but I would have been happy to see her stick to this gown all night. 

Elie Saab's collection was perfection and Mila rocks the lavender. 

Reese looked classically gorgeous. The ponytail is amazing. 

I'm not sure if I like this in comparison to her latest choices, but regardless Halle looks gorgeous. 

I would have loved to see Jennifer Lawrence really amp it up. I mean, she's a first time nominee! She's 20! It's the Oscars! Yet, this is so simple and elegant, it just works. 

Props to Camila for out dressing nearly all of the nominees. She rocks this gown.

2010 VMA's

The VMA's are always pretty entertaining. However, the show definitely could have used a Britney appearance. Nothing too exciting in the fashion department.

Highlight of the night: Lady Gaga. Enough said.

I think you need to see Lady Gaga in concert to fully get her. She's awesome.

2010 Emmy Awards

I was thoroughly impressed last night with the Emmy's. I thought Jimmy Fallon did a great job hosting. Did you see the opening act?

Let's get to the good stuff. Best dressed! Navy was the big color of the night, which I adored.

You can never go wrong with classic black. I can't get over how great Kelly looks!

One shoulder gowns were all over the red carpet last night. How cute are Jennifer and Michael?

My other favorites were Claire Danes and Christina Hendricks.

Boldest choice of the night goes to January Jones. I love the color.
